Green tea is made from the leaves of Camellia Sinensis that haven’t undergone withering and oxidation. Green tea is made by steaming, frying and drying these leaves. Green tea is mostly taken as a beverage by people, but it’s also one of the healthiest drinks.

CONTAINS HEALTHY COMPOUNDS: Green tea contains various types of compounds and minerals which are beneficial to the health. Some of them include polyphenols, Catechins and fluoride. These help prevent damage and ailments like cell damage and inflammation.

CONTAINS POWERFUL ANTIOXIDANT: The antioxidants found in green are powerful and they prevent chronic inflammation and oxidative damage. They also prevent cancers and help the treatment of cancer patients. Several studies have shown that people who drink green tea regularly have a lower risk of getting cancer than those who don’t drink it.

Green tea is easy to get and make, so simply brewing a cup of tea is okay.

 

3-5 cups of green tea can be taken daily.

 

SIDE EFFECTS:

 

Excessive consumption of green tea can interfere with your sleep, because of its caffeine content.

Green tea brewed too strongly can lead to digestive issues like constipation, acid reflux and vomiting.
